As a proud veteran-owned business with four years of dedicated service with the Air Force, Mock Plumbing Repairs stands as a beacon of excellence and integrity, mirroring the values its founder.
Our tournament is more than just a competitive event; it is a commitment to giving back to those who have given so much. This year, we are honored to partner with the PTSD Foundation of America, a respected 501(c)(3) organization devoted to assisting veterans and their families who are battling the effects of combat-related post-traumatic stress.
The PTSD Foundation of America was founded in 2005 by a group of passionate volunteers who began their mission by searching for homeless veterans on the streets of Houston. Driven by the vision of drastically reducing veteran suicides, which sadly surpass the number of American soldiers killed in action in Vietnam, the foundation has become a nationally recognized non-profit. With a shocking estimate from the Veterans Health Administration that 44 veterans take their own lives daily, the foundation’s work is more crucial than ever.
Our Impact:
Through this tournament, we aim to raise funds and awareness for the PTSD Foundation of America’s key initiatives, including Camp Hope. Established in 2012 in Houston, Texas, Camp Hope provides interim and transitional housing for veterans working to overcome their invisible wounds. The campus includes extensive facilities to support healing and integration, from therapy and worship services to family integration programs.
